Megalith : Warhorn is a free Online RPG, the player will take place in the world of Elmween where he will be able to choose between two different factions, and 8 different races.. All unique. The game will focus mostly on the community and the roleplaying experience.. Thats why we have chosen to use One Directional Sprites and focus on other stuff like the amount of unique Items, the Gameplay and basically everything else.. Rather than working on fluid Animated Sprites for all NPC's and Players. You'll be able to experience a highly detailed World, a dynamic Day/Night and Weather System, Player Guilds, Events.. dungeons and alot more. And there will allways be an open Pub for players to interact and share their experiences.

Its been a while eh?

Yeah i know its been like.. 2 months now? We'll i must say i was pretty much close on me giving up there, Silverdale had an amount of problems.. All projects were going so slow and stuff.

But i must say, thanks to DFA im back into working with games. He's been fixing up Silverdale alot, also adding new stuff to it. Which has really given me motivation to work..

We'll be having a test soon enough, please post here if your up for it. We need to test out if the graphical glitches are still there.. After this test there will probably be an account whipe.. Alot have been fixed, let me list some of the fixed problems.

- Graphical Glitches have been fixed. (Maybe not all)
- Dex now increases Attack Speed.
- Willpower increases Spell Damage better.
- Strength increases Melee Damage better.
- The critical strike bonus has been lowered, it was way to high.
- The EXP loss have been lowered.
- Spells based on STR.
- Spells based on a Percent of Intelligence. ( Pretty much like the % weapon damage spell, but for Mages )
- A respecc Potion.
And probably more stuff i dont remember now..

More is to come, stuff like Buffs and Transform spells :). Please be patient, and i apologize for the long delay.

1.3.6

Silverdale 1.3.6 is Out :). Go download it, and play.
All the errors are not fixed, but hopefully.. the server should not crash as often.

There really is not many new things in the game, allthrough its pretty much a pre-patch for some new content.

I added more Info about Silverdale, for stuff like spells and how to play... Also stuff like commands and controls.
But i also updated the Worldmap page for Megalith, check it out.

Well since im making a news post, i might aswell say i added some more ranks and stuff to Silverdale, aswell as some new items and stuff. :).

Silverdale 1.3.5

Silverdale 1.3.5 is out, this version will contain the North part of Darkwood, allthrough it wont be open just yet.

It also contains some new spells, and a Guild system. Yep you heard me right, a pretty much working Guild system. You go to Lyyriis and into the Library, step onto the platforms surrounded by the Knight Armors, and you'll be able to create a guild. It costs 155 Gold to create a guild.

The special shop in Lyyris will also be opened, which will contain stuff like Keys and stuff that unlocks new areas.

There is also an Arena, just talk to me whenever you wanna fight somebody. I'll also make an public arena, and some more fun Games.. like Blob Killing, if anybody remembers that ;D.

Bug Reports

About everybody waiting for me to login so they can report the bugs they've found in Silverdale. Well don't, since im not a living bug report system.. This forum clearly has a "Bug Report" section.. Use it, if its a visual bug/glitch, post a screenshot..

Telling me wont do much good anyway, since DFA is the one that needs to hear about the bugs. Unless its an error in Item Stats or so. Really, when i say that posting on the forum is what you should do, it is not because i want more activity.. Its because its the more efficient way of doing it... Instead of me passing by all of the bugs to DFA.

Stop being Lazy and post in the Bug Report section :P.

Silverdale 1.3 Out!

Well Silverdale has been re-released as version 1.3. Im sorry for all the waiting, but hopefully everything should work now. Please report any glitches/bugs you can find. There is about 20 Levels of content in the game, and more comming. The game now has PVP along with new areas, items and monsters..

This is still a Beta, and don't expect it to be fully finished. Please enjoy it for what it is :).

Basic Equipment

This about the first type of equipment in the game.. Pretty much Leather - Iron - Copper and one cloth item.
Ive made a small animation to show off the Female/Male items, its nothing to special.. But since i have it, i might aswell show it off.

Female Base : Done, kinda.

Allright, im kinda dont with the base.. Ive done.. hardly one hairstyle for each race.. Ill make more later. Right now im going to start working on the equipment, for both Male and Female. Im kinda re-doing them.. the old were a bit randomly made. Ofcourse i wont ditch all old equipment, ill just make the normal shop items first.. then work on the random drops and so on.

Here is a quick preview of some races, and some equipment.

Final Female sprite.. i think.

I believe this might be the final female sprite.. i dont know, i cant really move any more pixels xD.. I think this is about the best i can do without re-making the sprite fully.. The face is still a problem, but yeah.. thats about the only thing im not satisfied with.

Icons.. or Icons.

Allright, this was actually suggested by DFA long time ago.. but ive just now tried to see how it looks.. and im really not certain what kind of icons we should use for Megalith Inventory.. I think both look great, what do you guys think?

The old Icons will look exactly like the armor your equipping, the second system.. The square icon system will have pretty much random icons for everything, and not each icon will be unique.

Attack Animations and Female Update

This is pretty much an old idea i had for the first Godborn game.. Basically since their attack animation was an walking animation, and looked like a kick.. i thought adding cool slashing graphics would spice up the battles.

Well i had the same idea for Megalith, here are some perviews of how it may look.. ofcourse it might look better in-game, since this is basically the first try at this.. I believe each weapon in the game will have an unique slashing animation. Since the spellcasters will get cool Spell casting animations, it'd be only fair if the Fighters got cool weapon animations ;D.

Since i like keeping stuff simple, i think most stuff like Hit and Attack animations will only have a one-frame animation.. With a fade out, which the engine can handle. Keeps stuff retro as they should be.

Ive also managed to get a bit help from people on the Female Sprites.
I hope they look a bit more.. female now. The face is still a problem.
