Unable to make an account due to not connecting.

First off, sorry for posting my inability to make an account in the wrong section of the forum. I somehow missed the Bug Report & Game Support. Well, back to the problem.

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to try Silverdale out because when trying to make an account the "Connecting to server..." remains on screen. I have retried many, many, many times and one time I have let it set there for 10+ minutes to see if it would work.

I have done the following:
- Followed the "Install Guide"
- Downloaded the latest beta.
- Restarted the PC.
- Messing with my Firewall.

I really didn't want to press this matter much, but still having this problem and just keeping trying to do it does not seem to work here. I have even did the Start -> Run on all the run-time items (except Stdole didn't work for not being a ocx or dll).

may be i am wrong but as you don't mention it : did you install the runtimes files?

Yeah, it is the first thing I install.
